This document delineates the District's Threat Assessment Team and associated administrative procedures related to threat assessments. The document and procedures were created based on guidance from the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Secret Service, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Illinois State Board of Education. The document has been updated and revised in consultation with external threat assessment experts.
