STEPS TO REGISTER A NEW STUDENT ENTERING DISTRICT 29
(HAS NEVER ATTENDED BEFORE & Entering Grades 1st – 8th Grade)
24-25 School Year Only
Step 1: Complete the New Student Inquiry Form.
Step 2: Complete the Residency Verification Checklist.
Residency Affidavit Forms (please complete the FIRST FORM and any other additional forms IF NECESSARY and send in (them) in with your checklist).
Step 3: Bring all paperwork from the checklist to the front office for processing.
Step 4: PowerSchool Registration Form
Once the school has reviewed and accepted your application, you will receive an email with information and a step by step guide on how to create a Parent PowerSchool account and how to complete the online registration form. Once this form has been completed, your child will be all set to attend school. The start date will be set by the administrator.
Step 5: Health Forms
Please print out all necessary Health Forms for your child and bring them to the front office.
**For Kindergarten Registration, you may bring all forms with you to registration.**
All allergy or asthma plans must be completed and turned into the front office.

Per District 29 Board Policy 713, any homeless child shall be immediately admitted, even if the child or child’s parent/guardian is unable to produce records normally required to establish residency.
